The Gilbert Clinic Health Restoration Program is a planned and coordinated synthesis of three interdependent approaches – Western Medicine, Eastern Medicine and Psychotherapy simultaneously applied to your unique situation.
Each member of the team becomes familiar with your condition – and the wide variety of issues that affect it – in a way that other medical practices have only approached in theory. This is done through a combination of your clinical visits and our innovative workshops. The clinical visits are combined with regular clinical discussions by our team about your case, enabling us to individualize and coordinate our care for you. Because the team speaks a common language as it applies to your condition – that is, each member understands intimately the effect of the other’s work with you – we have an enhanced ability to get to the heart of the problem quickly, to serve you with lasting solutions.
Working together in this way, the team develops a unique understanding not only of you and your condition, but with your conditions “root” cause. This systematic approach to the medical care offered at The Gilbert Clinic has been designed to help us understand and respect you as an individual, not just as a set of symptoms.
Because each patient is different, the exact treatment protocol prescribed, including the emphasis given to each modality, is decided on a case-by-case basis. In short, each program is designed to suit each patient’s unique circumstances; there is no cookie-cutter solution. After you commence with us, we work together to create a unique treatment plan for your recovery. You are then invited to discuss this plan with the members of your team. Once agreed, this becomes the “Blueprint” for your recovery. There is nothing hidden in this process; you are with us all the way through this process. In many ways you become the fourth member of your clinical team. Our experience clearly demonstrates that patients who are fully involved with the clinical team, once restored, are far more successful in maintaining their own health without the need for further treatment. As an added bonus your awareness of the treatment process being undertaken on The Program enables you to positively contribute throughout your time with us. The Gilbert Clinic Health Restoration Program is an inclusive program. We do not seek to replace your existing healthcare providers but add to them. This means, with your permission, that we will be contacting and updating your Primary Medical Doctor and other medical specialists as appropriate on your progress. We will also be working closely with your other healthcare providers to co-ordinate your care. We have taken the complete care model one step further by including all your healthcare providers on the journey you are taking with us.
